No bad toy

O K so this is a little toy that Kali has. The top has come off but I still let her play with it. Well the last 4 or 5 times she has seen it, she has started to cry. Not a little cry! It starts with her lips shaking, then drops down to the puppy dog lip, and then it goes to a full out crying on moms shoulder for like 10 minuets (uncontrollably) . It is so sad! Poor Kali hates that toy. I just can't help but laugh. Well today, I decided to put the phone in the trash. So bye bye bad toy.

Embracing motherhood

I found this poem and wanted to share it with my mothering friends.

Embracing Motherhood
I’d rather sing a lullaby, late into the night than live a life of luxury, donning jewels so bright. I’d rather wipe a tear, and kiss away the pain than come home to an empty house, feeling lonely again. I’d rather invest in diapers and clothes that wear too fast than prove our prestige and wealth in things that just don’t last. I’d rather be a Mom; no greater job there is. Each child is a blessing, because each child is His.

How grateful I am to be having another child and I hope I can dedicate my life to raising my family unto the Lord.

Just couldn't wait

So this is what Kali usually looks like when she in the shower

This last Thursday she looked a little different. Kali thought it would be fun to get in the shower with all of her clothes on. She was wet from head to toe. It was so funny her pants were so wet it took all she had to hold them up so they didn't fall off. Kali is always making us laugh.

Summer fun with friends

This week we had so much fun. We went up to a cabin somewhere past summit county. It was so fun. We went on walks, hung out, played games and had so much fun. We got there on Kali's birthday so we sang to her there too. Kali loved the dogs and she wouldn't even go to sleep at night because she wanted to play with them so badly. Kali would sit there and watch them eat and even took a taste of their water. Thanks to our friends who let us come to their cabin. We loved it.
