One of this months new things Self Control
I am a LOVER of Diet coke it is the only soda I will drink. My husband always tells me that I am addicted to coke and I never believed him until last month. Every time I go shopping I would buy a coke not even thinking anything of it and never thinking I was addicted (I would drink at least 1 or 2 a day). Last month while I was shopping my little girl went up to the freezer grabbed a Diet coke and said here mom I know you are going to get one of these because you always do. It really made me think I had stopped drinking as much water as I did before and replaced it with Diet coke. So that is why this month I am teaching myself self control. I was told it takes 21 days to break a bad habit so for 21 days I will not touch Diet coke. I am on day 10 because I started a little early and besides the bad headaches for the first week it has not been to bad. So every month I will learn something new and do something to help better myself and my life.

Origami Orchid Flower and a tie holder
OK so this is my Origami Orchids they turned out OK I guess. I also tried bunnies they turned out OK but I still have to work on those.
This I saw on a blog the lady made it to hang something on it I can't remember what. When I saw it I thought It would be a good thing to make to put my hubbies ties on. They are always falling off the hocks and I am always picking them up off the floor. this is what my finished project looks like.
All you need is a hanger and some shower hooks and ribbon I tried to make it look a little manly.
You can add as many shower hooks as you want you just tie the ribbon to connect each shower hook together.

New project for Feb. Teaching myself how to make Origami.
So I have decided to teach myself something new every month. January was sewing and Feb is making origami. I always thought it would be fun to do origami so I did a search and found some sights to help me and and when I was done these Lily's are what I came up with. Once you get the hang of it it is really kind of fun.
